Our school district is located in the city of St. Francis, Wisconsin, a suburb just south of Milwaukee. The approximately 1,450 students of our school district live either in our city or in the city of Milwaukee. The St. Francis School District consists of:  Willow Glen Primary School serving grades K3-3; Deer Creek Intermediate School serving grades 4-8; and the St. Francis High School serving grades 9-12.  You can link to the schools from this site.  School Board Meetings are typically on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.  On behalf of the St. Francis School Board and members of our staff, we are pleased to greet you on this visit and hope you find our web site informative and helpful in learning about our school district.

In the St. Francis School District, students are our #1 priority.

We believe:

  • Education is an innovative, evolving process based on student needs and measured by a year’s progress in a year’s time.
  • Support and intervention are provided in a physically and emotionally safe learning environment.
  • A student’s education integrates academics, arts, activities and athletics.
  • Learning is a shared responsibility among the student, family, staff and community.

School Immunization Law

The Wisconsin Student Immunization Law was recently changed.  Two different vaccine requirements were added which may affect your child’s compliance with the law.  The change will go into effect this fall with the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.

For information regarding this recent change, please go to the following website: http://dhfs.wisconsin.gov/immunization/index.htm.   Should you have further questions, please contact the City of St. Francis Health Department at (414) 481-2300.
